If he's empty he'll turn back into himself.. But she has to find him first

I thought the bump might be too subtle ..But at the same time I didn't want what happens next to look like it just came out of nowhere

Wouldn't he be permanently affected in some way by whatever he was turned into if he was left turned into it for long enough? I mean that's what's happened to the main character after all lol

No it's there - you just have to either have seen women in that condition before or have peaked ahead lol And it did KIND of come out of nowhere because there's a lot of details we're missing but no doubt that's part of the point

If he's wearing the ring he'll be permanently stuck if it doesn't get removed in time. But if he's changed into the purse, then has something put inside him and the ring is removed, then his base form (human man) will be reset to something else. That change doesn't have a time limit..

But he's stuck as a purse and no one else knows about the ring

The story is being told in first person from a few years in the future.. Sometimes things get forgotten Or just skipped over to be filled in later
