"Yeah, yeah, sorry girl, but I'm going to have to put you to sleep for a bit." Lutz whispered into your ear, you bit down on the hand that covered your mouth, Lutz screamed out in pain. You escaped his grasp, running past Kuro, who was surprised that you had managed to get away so easily.

The only one left for you to escape was Luciano, who was completely prepared for you to try and run past him. You didn't know what these men wanted from you, but they sure as hell weren't going to catch you that easily.

  You grabbed the knife, it was laying almost a foot away from Luciano. If you had any chance to escape him, you would need it. You didn't hesitate to run straight for him, Luciano's eyebrow raised in curiosity, probably wondering what your plan was.

  You smirked, as you came right in front of him, both of his side were completely guarded, which left only one place open. You slid underneath Luciano, his eyes widened and he tried to catch your feet as they slid underneath him. You pulled them away quickly, and then ran for the back door.

  You couldn't help but giggle a bit, it was pretty funny how three tough looking guys couldn't catch you, a little seven year-old girl, But, of course, you weren't just any ordinary seven year-old. You ran out the door, and then did the one thing you could do. You took in a large gasp of air and then shouted,"Kuma!!!"

  The large polar bear jumped up from his hiding place, and ran forward with a snarl on his face. The three strangers were in sight as Kuma came out of the bushes, you continued to run away from the scene while Kuma ran straight for the men. The three hesitated to go any further, after all, they had absolutely no chance against a bear.

  "You're very sneaky, I'll give you that much, but I'll be back for you, bambina. Count on it." Luciano shouted to you. Your run came to a halt as you turned around. Luciano had a large grin on his face as he retreated with his two comrades, leaving you to stand and watch as they leave.

  Kuma stood there, glancing over at you, and then looking back in the house with a whimper.

  "I almost forgot... Matt..." Your eyes began to tear up as you ran back into the house, Matt was laying on the ground, blood was all over the ground beneath his leg, his blue jeans soaked in the crimson liquid. You ran to his side, and kneeled down next to him, unsure of what to do. The tears kept coming, you took in a deep breath, calming yourself down. You knew Matt would be alright, he was only shot in the leg, so why were you so upset?

  You could hear someone walk through the front door, and ask,"Why the hell is the front door wide open?" You got up, your legs wobbled underneath you, and walked into the living room. Al blinked, his crimson eyes staring at with concern,"H-Hey, what's the matter, kid? Why are you...?"

  "Some guys broke into the house... And one of them..." You choked out,"...had a gun..." Al walked past you, and looked inside the kitchen, his hand clenched into a fist as he muttered something to low for your small ears to catch.

  Al turned back to you placing a hand on your shoulder,"It's going to be okay, (name) but... I need you tell me anything you can remember about these guys that broke in. What did they look like? Did you catch any of their names?"

  Your teeth clenched,"Their names were Luciano, Kuro, and Lutz." You already knew that Al already had knowledge of the trio, before it seemed like Matt knew them.

  "Those shits... I'll kill them...." Al growled,"What did they want?" You weren't sure if you wanted to tell Al that they were after you, but you didn't really have much of a choice, he would find out sooner or later. Whether you wanted him to know or not.

  "They were looking for me, but that's not important... We need to get Matt some help." You tell him, walking back into the kitchen. Al was shocked by your words, but he understood why Luciano might want you. Your mother was staying with him, and your father had just been brutally murdered, even though the only few who knew about that were those who lived under the same roof as you.

  As you walked into the kitchen, you stopped, your eyes wide. Matt was trying to pick himself up off of the floor, using the counter for support. Al had noticed you stop, and went to check out what you were gawking at. As soon as he saw Matt, he walked right over to him.

  "Take it easy, dumb-ass, you wanna ruin that leg of yours some more?" Al sighed, helping Matt over to a near by chair. Matt pushed Al away, causing them both to fall to the ground. Al's face turned red with anger,"What the hell was that for?!"

  "I didn't ask for your help, I'm perfectly fine, it just grazed my leg... So, stop trying to help me, stupid. I can get up and walk by myself." Matt hissed.

  "Oh yeah? Then try getting up without using anything for support!" Al challenged him. Matt took the challenge, lifting himself off of the ground, while Al watched. Even at a time like this, you thought, Matt and Al still continued to fight amongst themselves as if the incident had never happened. You stood there watching the two, your (h/t) (h/c) hair hung in your face. You could tell the two really cared about each other, even though they act like they both hate each other's guts, You almost felt a little jealous. Having a family that cares so much about each other.... That would be the one thing you would never have.

  "... (Name)? What's wrong?" You were startled by the sound of your name being said. You looked up to see both Al and Matt staring at you with a worried look.

  "Huh? Oh... N-Nothing! I was just thinking..." You said slowly,"How much I would love to have a family like yours one day..."

  "You are part of our family, poppet, so, that's a little bit of a silly thing to think about." You heard a voice say behind you. Oliver stood behind you with a gentle smile on his face. Your (e/c) eyes stared into Oliver's baby blue ones. I'm ... Part of their family? You thought to yourself. Oliver took a step forward, and knelled down so he could look you in the eyes,"You'll always be part of this family, so don't think otherwise." Oliver gently stroked your (h/c) hair, with a loving smile.

  You practically tackled Oliver with a hug, very happy that he had said those words to you. Your real family didn't want you from the very beginning, but a family that hardly knew you was willing you to take you in, and allow you to be part of their family. You swore to yourself that you would do your best to protect them, and not allow anything bad to happen to them. Which meant that you had to eliminate one tiny little problem.... Luciano.

-Luciano's POV-

  "Are you sure that it's okay to leave that little girl with them? You did go through all of that trouble just to find her." Lutz asked, Luciano paid no mind to his question, he just continued to sit there quietly, staring out of the tinted backseat window watching as the world outside him flashed by. He was glad to have finally found you, your mother had hid you so well from him for all of these years... By the time he had found your house, the only thing he saw was blood stains all over the walls and floors.

  He would expect nothing less from his precious little bambina, killing came naturally to anyone in his small family, but the fact that you were with... them made Luciano's blood boil. Those four are nothing but a couple of Morons, Luciano thought bitterly, why would she want to stay with them? She knows that her mother is with me, and it's possible she knows who I really am, so why?

  Luciano frowned in frustration, still not understanding your reasoning. Perhaps it's because she felt abandoned? He thought, but if that were the case you would only feel that way because your mother had left you with that complete stranger. It wasn't his fault, he had searched years for you. Maybe you still didn't know the truth, yet. Yes, that has to be it...

  "Luciano? Are you going to answer my question?" Lutz sighed from the drivers seat as he began to pull into the drive way.

  "Its alright to leave her there, even though I hate those morons, I know they won't do anything to hurt her, and if they do..." The last few words Luciano had said came out in a loud growl. Lutz nodded, already knowing what would happen to them if they hurt the girl, even though he still had no idea why you were so Important to him.

  Luciano was the first to exit the car, already making his way inside his large house. While Kuro and Lutz trailed slowly behind, causally chatting with each other- well, Lutz talked, and Kuro was most likely thinking of ways to get him to keep quiet. As soon as Luciano made it inside, he walked across the room to reach the large red-carpet staircase that lead upstairs.

  Luciano's house was beautiful, large vases of red roses were scattered throughout the majority of the downstair's rooms, paintings- which were mostly painted by Luciano- hung proudly on the walls. The windows sparkled like diamonds as the sunlight from the outside shone through, leaving the rooms bright. If anyone from the outside had walked in, they would almost feel like they were in a whole different country.

  But to Luciano, this place was nothing compared to his home back in Italy, which his brother, Flavio, was currently watching over. Luciano didn't care much for his older brother, it was almost like having two older sisters, his brother was very reliable when he wanted to be, but Whenever Luciano needed something, Flavio would be sure to do it for him, though sometimes it would be in a very weird or poor fashion.

  His brother didn't look much like him, Luciano had dark brown hair, his brother always kept his dyed a golden blonde color, and while Luciano wore darker clothing, Flavio always wore lighter colored clothing. Luciano and Flavio also had completely opposite personalities.

  Almost everything about the two brothers were complete opposites, the only thing they both had in common was that they both had the ability to take down and kill any target of their choice. Despite Flavio's skills, he hated to hurt other people- mostly because he didn't want blood to get all over his clothes-but sometimes he had no other choice.

  Luciano stopped in front of the door which separated him from your mother. Luciano has been keeping her here for years, pleading for her to tell him where you were, but when begging didn't work he had no choice but to get the informations by using force. He never really liked your mother much, you were just an accident in her eyes, but to Luciano you were anything but an accident.

  Luciano didn't have an explanation as to why you meant so much to him, but he swore he would do anything in his power to get you back. Even if it meant killing anyone who tried to keep you from him.
