Description
This picture started the story by the same name [link] and it never got finished. Because after that all heck broke loose.There is a thick plexiglass window between Martin and James.
James Phillips is a tech who works in the lab in the afternoons. He's a fantasy geek, so having Martin to talk to is a great opportunity,even though he isn't supposed to be friendly with the prisoners. He has a DA account and has a well established collectibles online store.
This is the first time I have actually done bare legs and feet. So if there is anything I need to fix any help is welcome before I continue on. I haven't finished Martin's right foot because I'm not sure how I want his leg to go.

I love the toes and knees! The hands on both of them are great too, although their noses look a little flat. How do they play cards if there's a window between them?

There is a metal drawer that the meals get put through,and the cards get dealt through there.That's what the apple and the bottle of water are sitting in.
The handle is on the opposite side of the wall where James is sitting. So he can push the drawer in and pull it back. Whereas on Martin's side once he pushes the drawer in he's unable to pull it back because it locks and is also pretty flush to the wall.
Thank you,I'm glad you like the toes and the hands (Agh those bloody hands!!!). Yes, Martin does have toes,even though I've never done them before! The faces are shaping up a lot better now that I'm colouring it, but thank you for pointing that out. I'll keep an eye on that as I go along.

The way that Martin is holding his cards against the window is the almost the same position he uses for his throwing stars, so I had a reference for that.Once I figured out how I wanted it to go.

Looks good so far! I think you've done a good job on the legs. I like how unhurried they both look, despite Martin's broken arm which hints at violence,

Thank you very much.I guess you can say I haven't tackled anything from the waist down. The toes were a little tricky and I hope the paper doesn't rip on me.

One thing I always hated about being in a sling is you always felt that your hand could never really do anything,so it just hung there,or you curled your fingers,or you made a fist.It's probably driving Martin nuts not having an arm available...it certainly drove me crazy every time I was in one.

That looks very good already! The details are stunning and hands and feet turned out VERY good, as did Martin's Expression.

I actually love how his face came out. That smirk is definitely cocky.He would never do that to someone normally,but the situation is very different here.
I was thinking his toes might be too small, but I'm afraid to correct them because there is a weak spot on the paper from erasing too much.
I'm glad the hands came out OK too!James' weren't too bad,but Martin's was challenging becasue I didn't know how he would show the cards.

I think you could have some more space to the left of them, to make the image more balanced. Right now you have the two guys at the far left and a lot of empty space on the right. It looks off somehow, to me.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to have to redo this then to balance it out. James is so far over he's on the edge of the paper. Don't know what the hell I was thinking! Agh.
