OK,this is rather related to the last picture I did forCrystal ([link] ) was asked in an interview if she ever wanted to have kids. Her response was that she was already living with two.
Meet one of them: Jake Rolf. Also known as a candy stealer and The Bottomless Pit. Jake has an enormous appetite to put it mildly and can down cheeseburgers at an alarming rate. It doesn’t matter what form he’s in.
But he has a rather jumpy side and is easily startled. So when he is surprised, he gets rather…puffy. Or majorly floofie.
I do hope I did good ol’ Jake justice here, giving him the right amount floof and all.
And in case you’re wondering, that’s a double tiered cooling rack with chocolate thumbprint cookies.

I love the poofy effect in this: I can imagine how long it must have taken you to colour each bit 
(I'm being slow with Martin, sorry. I had all kinds of grand visions of death-defying mid-air stunts for him to pull off, but my anatomy skills have kind of cut it down to something a lot less impressive

Oh I'm so glad that youlike him! I wasn't sure if I was going about the poof the right way but I was using the pics you had sent me,plus the "Wolf On" pics too. So Jake really IS a kid! has nothing to worry about;no cookies will be wasted!.(see below comment)
The fur didn't take that long, there are about three colours in there, so it took less time than other things.I'm glad youlike the kitchen too!
Don't worry,Martin has to keep his feet on the ground sometimes too! And son't feel the need to rush. Thank you again, and for faving it too!

Oh, Jake never poofs 'the right way', just always in ways that maximize humiliation and minimize hostility. :3
He's not a kid in physical body, but his mind dislikes deviating from sugar candy land to the realities of life. Oh, Jake definitely abides by the 15 second rule for sweet stuff. And if not, there's Vorsar who has like a many many many days rule...

Unfortunately, Jake is the techie person in the house, so there's pretty much nothing that will stop him from finding his way into delicious hidden treats.

This definitely has a semblance a of realism to it, which makes the cartoonish scared impression somewhat awkward with how life-like it seems.
Aside from that artists awkwardness, this is a very fun picture, with a classic premise.

I love this a lot. I love his startled expression, pose, and how his fur is puffing out. xD You did quite well on the textures of his fur, might I add! The background, attention to detail, and colouring are also impressive. Excellent composition!
