Last Sunday, animator Monty Oum passed away at the age of 33.He was such a great inspiration and one of the few people really living his dream.
I also have friends who were acquainted with him, so it's been especially hard since they had real experiences with him.
I got into Rooster Teeth because of his work with RWBY and it's one of my favorite series that I've been following for almost 3 years.
The day RT announced his death they also had a podcast honoring him. They mentioned he would always repeat the phrase "keep moving forward" which I think is just such a great thing to focus on during this time.
I decided to make this tribute fan art in a traditional style because RWBY was based on classic fairy tales.
It's just so weird thinking about it because I knew so many people that were fans and cried for him.
