LOOK I DID A RWBY.
Also I did a feels.
This was really fun to make. xD Trying to draw wittle Ruby was actually a challenge as well because most of the characters I draw are either adults or teens. I hope I did well, xD hopefully this'll help me get better.
Also, Summer in this picture is supposed to represent how she felt before she died when she realized she wouldn't be there for her daughters (yeah, yeah, I only drew one. ) how she regretted the fact she couldn't be there for them anymore.
And Ruby is just a devastated kid.

Very emotional work. Hmm, since gods and magic are real in RWBY, I wonder if they also have an afterlife? Summer could well be watching over her little girl, unless that's something the dead can't do. Either way, some day those two might be reunited, but hopefully not for a long time.

Yeah, lately I've (and a good number of people for sure) felt that Ruby was... just there in Volume 5 and it isn't fair because she's the freaking protagonist! She shouldn't be just there!

Yeah. I keep considering some of the lyrics from Red Like Roses part II and I kinda hope some family drama from Ruby might come into play. Like maybe she's not as close to her dad as she is to Qrow because of incidents following her mom's death? I think that could be interesting.

Ruby: it's just...my mother....crazy huh? That I still remember how her death tore me apart inside. *then Looks at her partner for the job* why do you never show emotion for your lost loved ones or teammates?
Frederick*Looks back*: In this lime of work. You don't have time to morn on the battlefield. Those that do always end up dead next. You have no choice but to press on till the mission is done once the objective was complete. Only then did we morn our dead.
Ruby: then why do you never show it?
Frederick: I do morn I'm my own way. It's just not normal as you would call it. Besides. Why would I cry infront of a stranger that I don't know.
Ruby: i...guess your right *they continued there trek into the forests of there current job to clear out Grim* um...did you lose anyone important to you?
Frederick*froze*: yeah.......far to many.......we should keep moving. This negative atmosphere will only draw the grim to us. And I don't plan on bringing you back in a body bag either
Ruby*she nodded and went silent but held a question in her thoughts*: is he just as sad and lonely as I am?
Frederick*thought of something else*: Why did I answer any of her questions?
