I rarely like furry themed artwork just because I can't get past the snouts, but I saw this on my homepage and had to comment. 
Very nice artwork. <3 Your coloring, proportions , and background is amazing. <3 
This reminds me of a fennec fox--- well maybe a squirrel, haha.

The only thing that's really distracting from the overall picture, and I realize it's a commission, so I know it's not your fault, is that the green nose, ear gradient thing is just too distracting from the overall tone of the piece.

The linework is very nice, as is the coloring, although I think you need to work somewhat on your shading due to the position of the Sun, but it's not that distracting. Also did you draw the character separate from the rest of the piece and add them after?
