Description When I looked into Steampunk, I found myself in very very unfamiliar territory...

What we have here is Sam and Max (along with the DeSoto) given the Steampunk treatment... depict them in Victorian-era clothing and add the gadgets and gizmos and anything associated with the era of the steam engine which includes goggles, cogwheels and such...

Instead of seeing Sam's actual revolver, he has a "pepper box" revolver instead... As for Max's gun, I tried to make a steampunk version of his Luger pistol... the cylinder on the gun is replaced with a cog...

As for the DeSoto, reimagining that thing in a steampunk fashion was a f***ing nightmare... I had to find various pictures on the net for steampunk cars as references...

steampunk is all ways a good theme to me. next More Pocket watches for with out them then sam & max can't tell time. Love your drawing. it great as is.

thanks. Steampunk tends to be heavily detailed with watches, gears, goggles, and things that are based on steam engines...

so many details... people were dressed as if though it's still in the 1880s... and the accessories they'd have would include pocketwatches, goggles, cogwheels, etc... the vehicles of the 20th century had to be reimagined with cogwheels, copper or gold plating, steam pipes, steam engines and all that stuff...

Of course, it always get more compolicated when drawing so much details. It's hard to be patient when I don't have much time due to geology jobs.

A steampunk version of a mercedes inspired the train-like appearance... When imagining what the car would look like in a steampunk world, you'd have to reimagine the car parts with things such as gauges, cogwheels, steam engines, anything that existed on a steam-powered train...

Well, goggles and belts are an integral part of the steampunk world... there are some pics where there are excessively detailed and ornate buildings, machines, objects, and accessories...

The suit that Sameth from Tomb of Sammun-Mak wore had some influence in this suit design... Civilized men wore those in late 19th century where the steampunk world seems to take place...

Ah I see, generally Steampunk is one of those things that are fun to imagine but difficult to put on paper XP

By the way, upon looking at it again, I'd absolutely love to see the Steampunk Luger as a reskin for the Lugermorph in Team Fortress 2
