This is a parody of an Old Master Q (Lao Fu Zi) comic featuring various characters from the Mario series.

Original comic comes from the OMQ Collection Series Book #3 pg. 6

At a track race, a starting-pistol sound going off is usually the signal to say "GO!"... but for some people... it's really loud when they're that close to a referee using those things... (these days the starting pistol is electronic with simulated gun sounds)

note:
-Second comic done while the Rio Olympics were still going.
