Howl! ^_^ He's so pretty.I like how his white shirt turned out. I simplified it a bit, but I like how it looks flowy.
That coat... yes, I cut out 36 diamond-shaped pieces of fabric and sewed them together quilt-style. It actually wasn't that bad, but ironing the seams inside was a bit annoying since it's so small. I think there's room for improvement, so if I ever make him again, I'll be sure to get it done better.
He's done with the same pattern as my Chihaku pair~ 11" high, skin is with deersuede. Eyes are handpainted.

I don't envy you having to stitch together that jacket, but it turned out very well. I particularly like all the bits of jewelry you included, it really finishes off the doll.

The detail is absolutely incredible. Much better than any store-sold dolls I have ever seen. The cut of his clothing, the shirt sleeves and collar, the little diamonds sewed on his jacket, his necklace and the earrings, and the wonderfully layered hairβ¦heβs perfect, really.
I went to Fan Expo last year β it was my first ever convention. I saw your wonderful dolls - Chihiro, Haku, and of course, gorgeous Howl. You made me a mini Howl, who I love very much. And my little sister got a tiny Chihiro, with who she refuses to part. Thank you!

Oh indeed. At one point, I couldn't find any. But now, I managed to find it online and the colour is called "butterscotch".
