I wanted to do one of those fancy texture studies I see everyone doing.... but with triangles! Because triangles Pyramids are cool.Little did I know that it would have been much easier if I went with spheres or something haha.
I've learned that it is near impossible to get the shine on grilled chicken right.Β
But! I'm quite proud I was able to do that rainbow plastic one. Because man I loved things like that Β when I was a kid. Also it just looks really..... hard to approach from a painting perspective?

These came out awesome! The pyramid is a really interesting shape for these. It turns one's mind to the mysterious Β Β Lovely realism.

I think it varies on whether a sphere or prism shape would be easier? I really like the ice one + they're all kinda clever in their own way. ^~ My only thought was the metal looks more like concrete or perhaps the kind of rock used in magnets; something about how the pyramid is distressed and the lack of sheen. :\ The grilled chicken-a-mid would look even more grilled if one side of it had the actual grill marks...!
