Sonya was the alternate version of Sonic. Now you get to see the one that started it all. This one went out to all of my childhood friends who thought Tails was a girl. As well as all the people on the Sega.com forums a couple of years ago who voted Tails as "Best Female Character". He was on the poll as a joke. When he won, this project had to be done. The rest just followed naturally.

How she isn't Tails: Miette doesn't have a nickname, first off. She can fly greater distances than Tails when not carrying another character, due to her slightly smaller and lighter form. Oh, and Tails isn't a girl. Really. I'm just as shocked as you are.

An extra note for the colored version... I remember having a hard time deciding whether the fur tuft on her chest was supposed to be part of her outfit or not. That was one of Phill's creative contributions, if I remember correctly. But it turned out looking like part of the blouse/dress she's wearing, so that's my story for now. Also, I know the inking sucks. I did it in ballpoint pen in school one day in 2002. My good inking work didn't arise until later.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental
