Here we go! The first page of my side project.

This is a fan comic about the Crimson Corsair and his crew after the events of The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku .
At the end of that short story, the Clone Trooper Kix joins the crew and they are in the possesion of a Separatist memory core with the coordinations of all hidden factories. This comic picks up when they've visited most of those, and they all turned out to be empty already. Will the last one prove to be different?

Most of the stuff I wanted to draw was left up to imagination for the most part in the original material, except there are some teeny tiny hints here and there on the internet as to how it looked. For example, while I designed the Meson Martinet mostly from scratch there are exactly two images of it on the internet, and I did make it so that it fits with those. Also, the crewmembers Reveth and Squeaky go largely undescribed in that short story, so I designed them myself as well, though it turned out that writer Landry Q Walker has some headcanons about Reveth (as can be seen in this Reveth artwork by lorna-ka ), so I put that in there too. For a another look at them: I did a line up of the whole crew !

Alas, this is probably the only page I'll finish (maybe I'll get the second one done before school starts again). The level of detail is pretty large, and I'm mainly focussing on my Nuzlocke comic, so I won't have time to do all six parts during this vacation. But I have everything roughly sketched out, so I'll definitely upload the cleaned up versions of the next pages, as well as some concept art for the Meson Martinet and something else that would be a spoiler. Look out for those!

For the readers of my Nuzlocke comic, that next page is coming at the end of the week!

Dit is een fan-strip over de Crimson Corsair en zijn crew na de gebeurtenissen van The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku .
Aan het einde van dat kortverhaal sluit de Clone Trooper Kix zich aan bij de bemanning, en hebben ze een Separatistische memory core bemachtigd met de locaties van alle geheime fabrieken. Deze strip begint wanneer ze naar de meeste hebben bezocht, en die waren allemaal al leeg. Zal de laatste anders zijn?

Het meeste van wat ik wou tekenen wordt amper beschreven of getoond in het originele materiaal, dus ik moest mijn fantasie gebruiken voor die dingen. Behalve dan dat er hier en daar superkleine hints zijn! Zo heb ik bijvoorbeeld de Meson Martinet grotendeels zelf ontworpen, maar er zijn exact twee afbeeldingen op het internet waar ik wel rekening mee moest houden. En zo ook Reveth en Squeaky, twee crewleden die niet echt worden beschreven in het kortverhaal; maar toen bleek dat Landry Q Walker wel een headcanon had voor Reveth (zoals te zien is op dit Reveth werk van lorna-ka ). Over de bemanningsleden gesproken, hier heb ik een line up !

Dit helaas wel de enige pagina die ik ga kunnen afwerken (misschien kan ik de tweede ook nog afwerken voor school begint, maar dat is niet zeker). De hoeveelheid details is redelijk groot, en ik ben sowieso vooral bezig met mijn Nuzlocke strip, dus voor alle zes stukken ga ik geen tijd meer hebben deze vakantie. Maar ik heb wel alles in ruwe schetsen, dus ik ga die een beetje leesbaar maken en wel uploaden, samen met concept art voor de Meson Martinet en iets dat nog een spoiler is.
