Description Sunday , September 28th.

Went to Adraga beach, Sintra-Portugal.

Me, and have been on this location yesterday to shoot some waterscape photos [link] It´s a beach located on the East coast of Portugal, filled with beautiful rock formations. I´ve lost my favorite sandals yesterday when I was trying to climb a rock to achieve a best angle to photograph. And when I got home I didn´t like the results, and decided to go back there, at least to compensate the loss of my left foot sandal Here´s a pic of our yesterday photosession [link]

I first left my tripod in the towel. Wanted to find a good place and angle to shoot, at it´s easier to do without any material at my back.

The sky was just perfect, heavy and dark clouds above, leaving an opening at the bottom so the sun could say goodbye, with is oranges and yellows.

The sea was calm, letting me to approach the water without much fear to get my self and my camera wet. Everything was perfect, just waiting for me to "push the button".

After mounting my tripod, I used a Cokin GND 4 handheld because at 10mm the filter holder can be seen on the picture, and I normally use 12 to 13mm focal range to crop it. But in this one I wanted the full wide angle. As I continue to say, gradient filters are scape photographers bestfriends, here´s a pic I took just to show you how they work [link]

Didn´t use a shutter cable on this one, so the image is not perfectly focused on some areas.

The shutter speed selected was ideal to capture the water motion, but not enough to turn it into a mist, or fog that long exposures normally do.

Post-Processing:
I shoot this one on normal jpeg.
Used PSCS2 to desaturate the tones a bit creating a more dramatical feeling to it.
Used levels, contrast, unsharp mask, noise reduction and watermark tittle.

P.S.: In the end of the day, I was trying a photo with a very low angle... and I was surprised by this: [link] you can easily imagine what happened a second after

Hope you like this one. Cheers.
