Description
Another in my semi-abstract but representation speed painting series. The idea behind this one was to combine some sort of alien presence/technology with somewhat natural and organic structures..Some custom brushes in Photoshop and Painter helped speed this one along....
Enjoy...I did making it
Phil

Looks like one David Levy's brushes that came with his Gnomon Workshop video?

This is beautiful. Love the spirals. It looks vaguely like shipwrecks on a small island in the middle of the ocean to me.
Love the cool colors and the little ribbons of lava running throughout.

These are great. they really allow the imagination to wander. The repetitive shapes work well among the anarchy.

Again very nice work philip, it almost looks like these shapes are made in a 3d program. You got an amazing gift, I'd love to have your skills Keep it up!

I really like the palette you chose for this. This one frustrates me as much as I like it, mostly because I still haven't figured out how to do with digital brushes what I managed to do traditionally with October Country and Helix. Aaarrgh! *sigh* Sorry, Phil, it has been one of those days.
