Another one of the Magic the Gathering cards I've created over the last couple of years. This one, titled Pendelhaven, is a promo card. I'm told its very rare and is actually being used as a banner on the new MTG site.I hope you like

Gorgeous as usual Philip, a nice, darker example from your collection. Not to say you haven't done dark work before, this is just more savage, more primal, more of a reverted feel than true civilization. Well done, keep it up.

I can't stop laughing. I recently bought a kindle gelaskin, and chose Infinite Oz. But then, the name, PhilipStraub looked so familiar and I couldn't remember why. I Googled, and a DeviantArt link came up, and as I love this site, I followed it immediately. And then I remembered, PENDELHAVEN, one of the most evocative and beautiful pictures I have ever seen, and one I wanted in huge poster size for my kids playroom, which had been advertised on another site for large posters. I AM SO HAPPY to be getting some of your artwork for my Kindle. I've been looking for a skin for a while, and just haven't really felt a connection with any of the thousands of gelskin images, until I saw the OZ pic. There is something about your work Philip. Amazing!
