I'm a huge fan of doo-wop and early R&B so when I heard that the recent episode of MLP was entitled 'Twilight Time' my mind immediately went to the song of the same name: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvRe_p… . I tried to capture that 50's style but honestly I had no idea what I was doing. I just copied Loraine from 'Back to the Future' as best as I could.
I'm not much for self-depreciation but I royally messed this thing up. Good idea, mediocre execution. I'm definitely going to try again.

I smell fanfiction!
She uses a spell that takes her back way many moons ago in Ponyville except in the 1950s. There is one problem She is an alicorn, but some ponies believe that having another alicorn would mean disaster in Ponyville. Twilight tries to tell them that she would never harm anypony, but they don't believe her. They believe that only the one alicorn named Princess Celestia only exists. The only pony that does not see her as a monster is Butterfly, who is calm yet very shy Pegasus (a long lost Fluttershy's relative before she was even born).

I think it has potential. I'd expect the space-time continuum to be thrown for a loop.

I personally think that Twilight looks rather lovely in her outfit. The background really helps to make Twilight stand out. I may not have any idea what you were going for, but this definitely doesn't look like something messed up.

Thank you for those kind words. I'm not satisfied with it because I felt I rushed through it. I'm not pleased with her outfit design and the coloring was sloppy, even for me. That's why I'm going to have another go at it, but this time slow down and do it right.
