a commission for [link] requested his spartan walking out of fog shotgun in hand and dmr on his back.for time sake i took the basic pose from a halo render by newguy2445.
had some trouble due to this character has so much black it made it difficult to give it depth.

nice. but halo:reach is my most disliked halo game from the franchise apart from halo:wars

interesting. my most disliked is 3. it didn't set itself apart from previous halo games at all. besides forge and drop items (mostly useless except shield) i felt like i was playing 2 with only slightly better graphics. Plus the chief has as much character to him as a cardboard box. 4 gave him a little more at least. Halo wars i enjoy mostly for the story and the cg cut scenes. The game play is typical RTS but i enjoy the change of pace from the typical FPS if the franchise.

I just *mainly disliked halo:reach's armour abilities (especially armour lock)and it's physics.
I also didn't like the idea of loud-outs but it seems that halo is keeping that now.
if halo 4 didn't have loudouts and had drop items and findable active camo etc. again it would be my favourite.
Loudouts i think don't work so much with halo, when we have loadouts all the players just use precision
weapons from the start and you can't go out in the open much anymore.

it certainly changes play style from previous games. i am a fan of loadouts because i have the option of my optimum weapon for each map or game type i play. i can focus on my strategy for each game instead of banking on getting a certain weapon before someone else. weapon drops i am still in the air about because you often end up with too many power weapons on the map by halfway through the game. this is why weapons disappear much quicker when dropped but it doesn't make up for having 2 guys with rockets and 2 with snipers and 2 with shotguns running around the same map at the same time. usually on 1 team because the winning team is the team that gets more weapon drops.

I like the weapon drops, i don't like how many often they drop and how they have a marker indicating their availability. I also don't like ordnance, it only gives you a random selection already making it unfair in some circumstances and the amount of ordnance drops depends on how well you play, so it is basically giving the better players better weapons.
oh and i hate the boltshot, it nearly makes FFA slayer pointless.

not a fan of boltshot either but due to the amount of other people using it i learned it and use it now just so im not at a disadvantage. my preferred game is swat

Yeah i adapted to using the boltshot aswell... doesn't mean i don't like it though.
My preferred game is any form of slayer or custom games. I used to like FFA slayer the most but not now, with the introduction
of the boltshot.
anyway. add me GT: TheYakubu... i need as many possible halo fans in my friends list so i can regularly get custom games going!
