So here is the second wallpaper of tonight's double-header!Here is the ninja Shadow... with his dog Interceptor and his daughter Relm. Shadow has a mysterious past, but is known worldwide for his skill... and his price. Not many know of Shadow's origins... but if you look hard enough, you just may find them...

It's never explicitly stated but it's implied. Interceptor is supposed to not like anybody but Shadow, only it likes Relm. Relm's dad is gone, and Relm lives in Thamasa with her grandfather Strago. If you recover Shadow in the second half of the game, and stay at an inn, there is a 1/4 chance to see a dream sequence explaining his past. He's from Thamasa, he was a thief, he had to kill his best friend out of mercy, he ran away from his old life, his wife, and his daughter (probably out of shame and guilt). Shadow is who saves the party when they go to rescue Relm from the burning building. Interceptor is the one who finds Relm after the apocalypse. If you do not wait for Shadow during that oh so pivotal moment on the floating continent so that he most likely dies, in the ending credits it shows a cutaway of Shadow's face over Thamasa... you get the idea?

i never could figure out how to get that shadow story sparked. I knew relm and shadow were related, but i figured it was uncle or something like that...no idea it was such an intermediate relationship....eh, either way, nifty wallpaper. Final Fantasy III/VI is one of the greatests....most of my FF fanart is inspired by it.

in the game when shadow meets that lady and takes him back to her town, that was befor relm was born,he got to know the lady and get close to her.but then when relm was born he left to be a ninja.

Uh... I thought that Relm was Strago's granddaughter and that she just liked Shadow's dog? Anyway it's another cool addition to what looks to be like a BIG collection.
