Description
A "screen capture" from a mock Clock Tower anime. Done similarly to my Metroid one here:[link]
Once again, complete with subtitles quoting a line from the game's intro.
I like doing these, and as I've sad before, I will take commissions done in this style, of any request(Zelda, Street Fighter III, you name it)!

Ha, probably not, which is why I made this!
Personally, I'd much rather see a very well done live-action horror movie of the first game, but an Anime would be pretty awesome as well.

Just a bit of a visual nitpick here: I think that Jennifer looks a bit old in this. She was supposedly 14 in the 1st game (not sure if anything in-game clarifies that) & yet in this picture she looks more like she's in her early to mid 20s. Nothing hig, but it's just something that initially caught my eye.

I definitely see that. This screencap didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted.
I may have to revisit this piece sometime!

This is an interesting idea though. Making video game anime mock up pictures. I always like stuff like this, although I wish that people would put more care into when they actually decide to adapt games into anime (It often ends up feeling like an afterthought).

Yeah, there's a lack of video game movies, but when they're actually made, they suck bigtime.
It seems like a no-brainer to hire good directors to adapt video games into film, live action or otherwise, but nothing's getting made. Then again, film producers aren't exactly known for their brain power...

Yeah. It's just so stupid though when you think about it. From the very beginning, as early as the silent era, movies have always been a form of adaptation from literature. Most of the movie classics are always adaptations of books or short stories. Even today, a good chunk of movies are adaptations of either books, comics or simply other forms of entertainment.
Why is it so exceptionally hard to adapt video games then? I guess it has alot to do with the view on video games from people outside the culture. Only recently has video games gotten a status boost as a serious part of our culture. Something happened during the PS3/Xbox 360 era that suddenly gave video gaming an image boost to the rest of the world (at least around here). Even then, some people still insist on seeing games as nothing more than just toys, so they don't get enough seriousness into the projects.

Well, you look at any film or tv show that has scenes with people playing video games, and it always looks so unnatural. The game emits archaic beeps and boops despite being a modern game, the player flailing their arms all over the place...etc. Hollywood and the media are just so out of touch when it comes to these things.

.... Yup, you pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one. Hollywood especially is out of touch, considering how they are essentually the textbook example of "has been".

so...whoa whoa whoa, this isn't real? there ISN'T a clock tower anime? I is disappoints...wish they'd revive it and keep at it, the character backgrounds are good, I mean I wish they'd remake the first one onto like PS4 or something, add bonus features, and other stuff ya know?

Yeah, I'd love to see some kind of remake. Though, it is perfectly fine left alone where it is.
More than a remake, I'd love a animated movie, which is why I made this, haha.

yes, just yes, i do agree, but if it was an animated movie, they NEED good voice actors and not some shotty movie scenes, and it's got to be scary as fak, also a good bonus feature for a dvd is multiple "Endings"

The multiple ending thing sounds like a great idea, and yes, I do agree with all your points.

it would also relaunch the idea of the Clock Tower idea and get people interested, I mean lets look at the points, it's fast pace, it's scary as hell at times your not expecting it, it's advance tactics because you have to figure out when to leave a hiding spot or "predict" when the enemy is around and what they're range/reach is and if they have anything special about them like Daniella closes doors when she leaves, it's also very dark, it might seem like a pain in the ass but it adds quality to the panic and background of the situation. also the backgrounds of each character like the Ralph and Janima are interesting and twisted, and might I add, the diverse personalities and traits to people like Anne, Lottie and Lauryn are what interested me when watching the walkthroughs and finding bits and pieces of the manga. The character Bios are cool too

The original Clock Tower for the SNES is the only one I've played, and I think it has a very slow pace, which I like. And that would translate well into a horror film, because slow burning horror films are always the best and most scary.

I've admired your art for quite some time, with your Metroid, Shadowrun, and Doom work, and your Clock Tower work is my favourite. Um... I don't know if you'd be interested, but there is an amazing reproduction website called Timewalk Games. They do fully translated Complete in Box reproductions with fantastic detail with full colour manuals and such. It can be a bit pricey, but if you have the money, it's well worth it. I got a copy myself and I just love it! Sorry about the rambling, but it's really cool to actually own it instead of playing an emulator. Here's a link to the site. I think you should check it out.
