There was a recent leak that Necro might return to SFV in season 3, so I'm a little hopeful! Hopefully it's true!

I dont understand how this one didnt make it my theory this guys dont like characters sitting around doing nothing
i entered similar ones and none made it ,you even have have the same style .Yet i seen some crappy fighting ones
that made it into the tribute books dont make any sense it seems this year was worse they decided to pick one artist
from each country?????I ย wasnt born in this country i should have said no ablo english then i be in the book LOL.
ย So we all had zero chance of making it unless your friends with them anyways good job ย your one of few that deserve it

There's a lot of talented people there, but if there's one illustrator who's done work for them whose style or appeal I never understood, its Genzoman. Ugh.
The guy knows how to crank pieces out, but they're so devoid of passion and he hasn't improved in the 6-7 years I've been aware of his work.

I know what you meant by that but then again there are no punishments for doing ugly ass/uninspired artworks. They are still part of the same rotten crew. A crew of the same individuals churning out the same type of shit year in and year out.

Capcom themselves are pretty terrible in terms of artwork. I hate how they used to do tons and tons of promotional artwork, and now they just pose their in-game models and think that those pass of as "character artwork".

I'm not sure if that's entirely it. ย I think style might have something to do with it, as I know Udon most likely has a bias towards more anime-styled artwork.ย
Competitions are always tough, but yeah, competitions like there are always prone to at least some abuse or bias.

Ha, even if Udon claims to have diverse taste, they are looking for a particular style or vein when they choose their stuff, which is fine with me.
I suck competitively at fighting games in general, I just love their designs. Sf3 is very fun to play casually, but I'd get my butt handed to me if I even played against anyone really good at it. Soul Calibur's nice and easy, but I do prefer the fact that Street Fighter is a bit more technical.

Ah, yeah, I hear that. I've noticed that with artbook collections (though few) that I've seen.
Hehe, that's probably why my sister doesn't like them, she's a button masher first and foremost, she learns the combos along the way and Street Fighter is harder to do that with.
