I still say their other ending pose is better. You know, the one where they're both holding out their hands and sustaining that note opera style? xD

Been playing it on my brother's ps2 for a change from SFIV on 360... Have to say, that damn game's hard! I haven't hated any street fighter character more than Oro or Gill this past week...

It is hard compared the simpler sequels and prequels. Gill sure is pretty tough to beat sometimes!

I thought he was pretty easy... right up until I heard him say 'Resurrection!!' , get back up and promptly stomp my face in. It got so bad that I had to give up with Necro and beat him with Alex... Damn you Gill. DX

Necro= Awesome.

He had alright songs in 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike, too.

Yeah, he's awesome!

His stage and music were superior in New Generation than in the other tow, I think.

I could never really get into his New Generation theme, to be honest. I could never really get into a lot of NG's music. Even thought Third Strikes OST is severly underrated and is slandered more then it deserves (Much like the U.S. Sonic CD Soundtrack), it does have some terrible song's on it. Akuma's Song in Third Strike felt like a Tuneless version of Ibuki's music (Which was acctualy pretty good. Sharp Eye's was better, though. All 3 versions of it), and Ryu's Third Strike music... Eurgh. Boring. (I did love the full version's of the Opening Music and the Character Select though.)
My favorite of the soundtracks though is 2nd Impacts's OST. In fact, my favorite song from the entire Street Fighter 3 Series comes from 2nd Impact- Giant Attack (I still can't get over that pointlessly long title.)- Gill's theme, 'Nile'. Only problem with it is that Urien's theme has the same name- And i can't stand Urien's 2nd Impact theme.

I like Necro's NG theme arrange version here:

I actually only like a few songs from NG. Alex's and Necro's. Maybe Gills. The thing that just bugged me about Third Strikes soundtrack was all of the rap. But I actually really liked Dudley's and Q's themes.

Urien's nile them was actually one of my favorites from Double Impact. And I liked the character select themes in both NG an Double impact.

Ah yes, i've got that song downloaded already. I have all 3 of the SFIII Series Soundtrack downloaded, acctualy.

Yeah, Alex has never had a bad theme throughout the whole series. I loved pretty much every single Jazzy NYC. My favorite is probebly a Tie between the Latin Mix on the NG Arranged soundtrack, or 2nd Impact's version.
There wasn't really much straight up Rap on Third Strikes OST. Unless you count the Opening Title and the character select. While im not a lover of modern/ mainstream rap, i do like Hip Hop or Tasteful Rap. (By that i mean Rap that acctualy has MUSIC to go along with it.)
Third Strike had more Jungle/ Acid then anything else. But i do agree, Dudley and Q's themes where great. I especialy liked Dudley's, considering Hideki Okugawa, the main composer for Third Strike (I dunno if he had any involvement with New Generations Music, but he is credited along with someone else for 2nd Impacts), decided to go for a Trance-Like theme. If the UK is famous for any type of musical style, it's Trance Music, Heh.

Eh, it wasn't a BAD song. It's just i never felt it fit Urien very well. It seemed a bit to Upbeat. But that's probebly just me. And yeah, i liked the character select themes to. Particuly New Generations. (I also acctualy quite liked the V.S. Screen Jingle for NG to.)

See, that's the interesting thing about capcom- Is that they are not afraid to try new musical styles for anything. For example, the Devil may Cry series having Grunge Rock/ Heavy Metal, or Marvel V.S. Capcom 2 having Smooth Jazz (Which i especialy liked since Jazz is one of my personal favorite Music Genres- And i like pretty much everything. I'll admit it was a... strange choice for a fighting game, but i still think it was a damn good Soundtrack.) The Third Alpha game has that really weird style for it's music, as well. I dunno what you'd call it. 'Ambient Rock' is what i would've chosen. And of course the SNK V.S. Capcom series having Trashy Techno. I admire the fact that they where enver afraid to try anything new. But i haven't noticed them playing around with any music genre's recently. Then again, i haven't really played many recent capcom games, save for DMC 3. I've still yet to play DMC 4.

Yeah Alex's was always good.

It's not like I didn't like Third Strikes soundtrack, but I felt the other two were better. But some of the third strike songs are some of my favorites. SO I wasn't a big fan of the soundtrack overall, but some of the songs were really good.

Ah, don't get me wrong. Despite my long rant, i wasn't trying to change your opinion. I tend to blabber on about pretty much anything, but i babble even more when it's about music. Music in general is a important thing for me, so i tend to sprout off my veiws in a hideously long rant. Demonstrated above. Apologies about that

However i do agree. Even though i do like Third Strikes soundtrack, and belive it's hideously underrated (Same goes with the MvC2 Soundtrack), i'll be the first to admit that i prefere the other 2 over it. Especialy 2nd Impact's, as i've already stressed.

No problem about the long rant. I prefer the first two over third strike too.
