Unfortunately I never had the PSsingle, so my interactions with it were occasionally playing it at a friend's house... I could tell, though, Crash was basically the Mario of that console.

Ah! Yeah! That was it!! And yes, yes it did. It was almost as if you're not meant to win, but it's fun when instead of cpu it was with your friends! I always had a blast when it wasn't the cpu.
