Revisit of [link]Finally done! The perspective was really tricky to do since the view is slanted.
I may revisit Simon [link] next, but I'm not sure.

yeah, this was my favorite clock tower of all. I mean The second one was hard as hell to get the good ending in the last stage, the japanese one is too far away in history and finally clock tower 3 does not have the "click" gameplay of the previous ones...

Yeah, the first also looks the best and has the best story. The second one looks bad, has horrible cutscenes and has bad conveyance. Ghost Head I'm just not interested in, and Clock Tower 3 took on too much influence from Anime rather than horror films.

From Clock Tower 3? It was just a more overtly Japanese looking game.
The first game draws all of its inspiration from Italian Horror and Giallo films, which is incredibly unique for a Japanese-made game.

I've definitely made him look more horrifying than this though. I like the fact that his sprite in the first game almost looks bulldog-like.

That should be considerably easier than drawing him as a child. Furrows, wrinkles, dimples, nasty teeth, sunken eyes... There's just a lot more you can do with it if you draw him as an older man.

Eh, not necessarily easier, it's really easy to go overboard and make things look unconvincing. The trick is to make him look evil and creepy, without making it look like you're trying too hard.

Oh, of course. What I meant though is kind of like what I noticed in your picture; he looks a bit older than 9 and I think it's because of the lines. After all, every line added to a face adds a year...or something like that. Maybe it's just me.
