I agree. The only one I truly dislike was the time travel one for PS1. That one was infuriating.

It's called Rampage Through Time. In it, you have to play against two CPU monsters and at the end of each level, you play a crappy minigame. If you fail the minigame, you Game Over and get kicked back to the title screen every single time. It sucks.

whoa really? guess we never got that far, hah! we just liked the destruction aspect, I can't recall a time where we ever tried to get further into the game, heh. but, that sounds mega cool.

The game I was playing was Rampage World Tour for the PS1, so I'm not sure we're talking about the exact same game, haha.
But regardless, tt was cool to finally, FINALLY, see a change of scenery, ha.

Yeah, in the game, if you die, you revert back to your human self. The little sprites are really funny.
