The books were better than the movie.
In fact, Jack's appearing in book 4. *rubs hands* CANNOT WAIT...*glee!*
Also, book!Tooth was a lot cooler. She's known as Her Serene Royal Highness, Toothiana, Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies...AND SHE HAS SWORDS.

I heard about their backstory, and it really hit me when I heard that William Joyce, the writer of the series, had a daughter who died that inspired the series' creation.

Just finished "Bunnymund", and my jaw hit the floor like everyone else's when I saw the first real look at Pitch's backstory. Yes, "sad as hell" is right, and I'm sure there's worse to come. Which makes this art all the more poignant. The armor (the conquistador-y Golden Age flourishes really sing), the tender expression on the general's face, the all-important locket around his neck -- I could easily see this scene happening just before he has to deploy for the Nightmare Prison.

Brilliant touch with the intricate details on the armour! I usually struggle with not having them look too overpowering in the final composition, but in this (and many of your other pieces) you really pull it off.... Ill have to read this story now,
