When I saw this paint. I automatically thought of "the Godfather"! The atmosphere could fit perfectly into the Godfather movies too! Awesome work though! Love the atmosphere.

I'm sorry to say that I just hate the movie, but maybe that's because of Brody, I don't like it...
But never mind it! I love your pic, your style is amazingly beautiful as always :3

Everytime I watch "Pianist", it's really moving (even "moving" is too light word...). That's why it's so hard to convey its atmosphere. But you did it.
The most interesting thing is their pose, I think. German is situated lower than Szpilman - I don't know if it's coincidence or intentional thing but it might be interpreted in many ways: sense of guilt, respect or normal, human feelings which are rare during the war, included.
Impressive.

Oh geeze. I love this movie so. Much. Not just because it has both Adrien Brody and Thomas Kretschman (sp?) but because it's just a well-done, awesome movie. This is a wonderful tribute to it; I love how you've depicted them both. The vertical pencils strokes really add to the wrecked feeling of the buildings and the over-all mood, too.
I think I may have to watch this movie again tonight.

I was a kid when I watched this but of course did not fully understand it. Yet years later, I still yearn to watch it over and over again. That film deserved the Oscar.
