Critique for your contest thing
Pros:
You chose great stock all around.
The mane is excellent including shading/fly-aways.
I didn't realise the hooves were repainted until I looked REALLY closely (zoomed in at 300%) so that must mean they're really excellent!
The grounding is great including the specks flying around on the hooves.
Cons:
In my opinion the tail could do with just a tad more fly-aways.
I don't know what it is but to me the cutting of the owl seems a little choppy.
I personally think this piece could have done without the owl but then again ...
Maybe you could have cut the material out in a slightly wavy way (made the edges wavy) because it would look more like it was flying in the wind.

Only thing I'd say is the shadow from the ruins throws off the direction of yours slightly.
