Description stings like a goddamn bullet ant

+shotforlame+
Meh... tired and hungry... lol.

Entry for *kodriak 's contest, the part where you make up a female villain.

This was a quickie (sloppy lines, dont look too hard, plz), compared to how long the initial drawing takes me. Only about an hour and half. But to put all the textures and crap on there (maybe I overdid it?) took another two hours.

She's qualifed to assist you in seppuku (suicide through disembowlment), whether or not you're trying to commit it. Executed with a wooden sword, it probably hurts a lot more than a nice sharp wakizashi. Motives? Morals? Justice? Don't exist here, its all in good fun. Bloody good fun. You always have to suspect the harmless looking ones...

=_____=;;
While I am somewhat satisfied with the drawing, its still same old asian/japanese influenced type of art. With some Tite Kubo influence in there as well.

From now on imma work out of my comfort zone, starting with 'cute' stuff. lol found i can't draw cute stuff to save my life.

art © me only kthnx.

Ah, here we go.
Comment tiem!

Kay first off, I love the whole butterfly theme. I love butterflies, so pretty and neat!
The yellows and purples complement the darker black and red combo so nicely. Like, "I'm pretty but I can still kick your ass". x]

So she's one of those souls that just kills for the fun of it? Unsuspecting, but a wonderful plan. They'll never see it coming.

Haha, I like the wooden sword idea. Reminds me of what one of my friends once asked me. What would hurt more to get stabbed by (actually going at it until it punctures the skin): a spoon or a fork? I answered spoon. It would take a whole lot more stabbing to actually get it to break the skin. Ouch.

So pretty sweet design, I like!

Mm does she happen to have a name? Or a title of sorts?

aha, Ko-san, I don't think i will make it to your creature design contest, but I can give you more info on this charrie, if you'd like. ;;; gomen nasai T^T;;

um... yes, so anyway,.. my extra info on this charrie is that her name is Ryoukyou, and I guess you can call her a malevolent ghost/spirit... that...
randomly attacks people. Especially emo people. x] And... that's all I got.

I'm sorry again!

yush yush, butterflies made think, oh they're harmless but then when something tries to eat them, +poison'd!+

haha. +shotforlame+ x]

Thank yous thankyous ^_^
lol i'm sure wooden swords hurts more than anything... lol specially if its blunt. or if your'e being stabbed by a 2x4. then that might be bludgeoning, wouldn't it? lol

And... as far as name/title, i got nothing. T_T'' i'll let you know when there are? ^^'

I really like the colors that you chose for this - the black and red is a real contrast to the purple and yellow, just like how the smile contrasts the threat of the sword. Very cool!

You are so talented, ori'vod!

This drawing is absolutely gorgeous! The textures and colors fit so well with the Asian theme; they remind me of origami paper!

I love how you draw people. (Can you please teach me, sensei?)

aww, thankyous thankyous vod'ika!

I tried going for a mix between anime/manga and traditional japanese art for this one... ^^' and origami works too!

omg thats such an awesome black to red fade. i like how you detailed it with not an even gradient but more of a natural displacement in the fade. it looks REALLY good.

i want to help you improve just a tid...so from one professional to another i think that the texture on the dress is too even. i think i could use a kind of warp to flow with the wrinkles of the dress. but that is just my detailed eye oppinion. other than that lol this looks flat out amazing and you are awesome at drawing human/humanoids

thankyous thankyous ^__^ I love open canvas... its amazing for that sort of achieving-gradient-w/o-using-gradient-tools kina thing xD

oh! yush, the patterns. xD; I thought about warping them or something, like you said, to match the flowy/whatever of the fabric, but i went lazy went for a manga/anime look to the patterns. ... xDDD;; and i don't know how to warp stuff like that on my program haha x]
