"Do you ever wonder what's out there?"This one's been sitting around in sketch format on my computer and in scraps for ages; figured I ought to get it finished!
On the KH/Halo front, I designed this one as young Kelly's, with the shooting star theme intended to fit in with her crazy speed thing. Figure those points could do plenty of damage, too! Could also work as an Oathkeeper equivalent for John, perhaps (though not so much the relevant Nobody).
Outside of that, though, as I coloured it in... kind of reminds me of something else, too. Blue with stars, Mickey's sorcerer hat anyone? Hey, I can't complain about Disney coincidences in this context...

Where do you get your influences for your keyblade designs?
When I try to draw a keyblade, it just doesn't turn out the way I want it too. But I also have trouble with ideas for keyblades.

I don't have any set places I get ideas from, really; different series, different characters and their personalities/abilities... and on occasion 'vague scribbling at cool shapes'. It's a mixed bag. Just whatever makes me think 'hmm, maybe that'd be worth trying'.
I'm planning on doing a tutorial/walkthrough thing sometime soon - maybe it'll help?

I could only fave one so I picked this one.
So I'm not a huge Halo fan, but I've been trying to design my own star-themed 'blade in my head, and that hasn't been working for some reason. I, um...this is embarrassing...actually want to design one based off the Grand Stars from Super Mario Galaxy for an SMG story arc in a crossover fan fic. So I picked this one because your star Keyblade is better than any of the star 'blades I had in my head.

I just really want a katana sort of keyblade, make it look sort of bones and mecha status. you dont have to but just an idea.
