Description
For starters this drawing nearly killed my comp; no suprise considering it was nearly a 100mb file... I would have detailed it more if it wasn't for my comp!Anyhow, it's Lara Croft in all her pony tail glory! Forget Legend this is how lara is suppose to be; Ready for anything with pistols drawn!
I also drew this for the new Tomb Raider game coming out soon as well. Tomb Raider: Anniversary. In short it's a remake of Game 1!
Enjoy!
Time Taken: 5-15 hours spread across several weeks.
Tools: Wacom Tablet, Adobe Photoshop CS
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider (c) Eidos

Looks great.
I have never really been a fan of Lara, probably because she got blown out of proportion as much as she did, but this picture looks really great.
I think you added enough detail, the pose and everything else make the picture a nice peace of work as it is ^_^

lines are really sharp on fullview and that distortion effect in the background's actually really nice!

...Woah! That looks a whole lot cooler than your usual lara's (And I don't mean that in a bad way). And here I thought this whole time you hadn't been drawing. Very nice, I expecially like the background with the sailing ship and palm tree looking effects, they give a cool tropical feel to it. 100mbs!? Geeze what kind of resolution/DPI are you using over there? Something about that doesn't add up to me, and it sucks that your computer is being really lame, but I hope you'll keep on making cool pictures despite it.

I did use a high resolution cause I intended to detail this thing like crazy but it backfired on me. (darn comp...)

Yeah I have a similar problem, my computer can only handle up to about 2500x2500 resolution with 300DPI at the most, and that is with a slight, and annoying, delay on certain things. I usually stick to about 2000 if I want to go big, otherwise I usually stick to a lower scale even though it's probably foolish, Sarah tells me that it should be larger, but the hardwares just not up to it.
So I usually sacrifice the size and use a lower resolution, even though it's not nearly as spiffy.
