Description
To get this shot I opened the door of my fire and sprayed the inside of the glass with cleaner. The inside of the boat was immediately filled with noxious fumes. I managed to grab this before I passed out. What we do for our art!Related content

Ha! Would that I could afford a model to do anything, let alone clean the glass on my fire. I can think of better things .......................................... The oven needs a good going over!

Blowing a sodding gale here. Just been to ASDA at the reebock centre at Bolton. Right next to the football ground. Utd are playing Bolton. NIGHTMARE!! It took me hours!

I do like how you see things. I can tell in your shots you've posted in the last week, lighting is very important to you.. I still haven't quite figured it all out but like the effect you have achieved.. are you using soft boxes for your stills?

I used to use a set up [link] but now on the boat I have little room. I just use a black tea towel or a sweater as a backdrop and either natural light or ordinary table lamps for light. If you underexpose a bit it helps soften the lighting. You have to remember to alter the WB on the camera because of the light temperature. I think I underexposed by about 2 stops for the 'daybreak' shot.

'incandescent' should do it. Should have a little icon. Tungsten might give a blue or green caste, I think. Not a real prob if you are shooting RAW, but not everybody does.
