A few days ago I was talking via the interjet thingy to one of my close friends on dA. I'm sure she won't mind me telling you who it was.I was chatting to Ang *mstargazer , when the family of swans and cygnets that frequent the marina turned up at the front of my boat looking for food.
I took my laptop onto the welldeck and fed them, whilst Ang listened to the squeaks that the chicks, now almost as big as their ever attentive parents, made in their frenzy of bred snaffling.
Noticed how Dad has got his tongue out?
I said I would try to photograph them as they are now. I have shots of them in my gallery when they were but a few weeks old.
I dedicate the shots of the cygnets and swans to Ang *mstargazer .... more than a virtual friend....more a very comfortable and valuable part of my life.

My mother used to tell me that if I had forgotten something, it must have been a lie. I have never understood that, but then I'm not really bright. I think she should have said, "if you have forgotten something, it must have been a rubbish idea." Makes more sense and is most likely true.
