Description
The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Triceraton action figure is one of my faves. Here he is with another Triceraton based on the original comic book appearance. You can make them have wars.Check out more of my TMNT stuff here ---> phraggle.deviantart.com/galler…

They're from the original comic mostly... I think.

Yeah thats probably why I missed them not much of a reader back when the Original comics where out, not sure I was much of an embryo back then to be fair

If you were born in the early 90s then you may have been on the embryonic side.

Triceratons play a big part in the turtleverse too.

This is a great pic. I love that you put in the Classic Figure version along with the 2000 version. Thats so cool.

Haha, Triceraton was one of my faves, too! He had the coolest guns, and a very sturdy design. Great work, here!

LOL Man, we're going all 80s all the time with our references, unless you meant the 2011 version.

I remember thinking the original Triceraton figure was so cool. When I found out how prominent they were in the comic series, though, I was a little surprised. Always seemed kind of crazy-silly to me. But hey, given the lack of mutants in the original comic, I'll take alien triceratops guys any day!

They got really sci-fi rather quickly in the original TMNT book.

See, I was a little surprised because as a kid, I only had a trade volume of the original comics that covered the whole fire/Casey Jones/turtles in the snow section, and having seen the movie, I thought, "Wow, this bad ass and really awesome and cool. I want to get more!" Little did I know that right after that, the turtles went to space.

The space thing was pretty cool.... and I think after that was when Shredder came back. I hafta reread them though. I heard Peter Laird kinda suffered some nasty writer's block after that & that's why there was a pile of comics done by guest artists that... well... weren't quite what a lot of fans were after.

It was a tough thing to write, I'd imagine: something that was technically started as a parody, that grew its own unique fan base. You'd have to balance parody and the expectations of the fan base simultaneously. Hard to do.

Ooh, I don't recognise these guys, but they look awesome.
Nice contrast there between how tough they look and the pretty flowers !
Awesome details as always too.

Thanks. The original turtle comic quickly went Sci-Fi-ish and spent a lot of time in another dimension with triceratops aliens. Flowers are fun.
