There used to be a role playing game for TMNT. The game had a divergent timeline in where humanity nuked itself mostly out of existence and the animals evolved. In of the supplemental books, they went into what happened to Australia.

He's such a walking stereotype, and I love him for it. Walkabout is one in the only original figures I have from my childhood.

I think he's one of the few action figures that never appeared in a cartoon or comic book.

Which meant I didn't even have to try to use parts of his backstory. He was a blank slate, a one eyed kangaroo with a boomerang, a shotgun, and an awesome hat. I didn't even need him to hang out with the Turtles to have adventures. I never had an Ace Duck sadly, but if I did, those two would've been my go to team of Mutants.

Back then, most of them were ( and really, still are ) clean slates for me. I know some wound up in like one episode of the original cartoon ( to sell toys I think ) but I kinda lost interest in the show by then. I saw part of the Mondo Gecko episode and it was kinda-pretty goofy. 
Ace Duck was kinda cool. They put him in the Archie Comic but he was a pro-wrestler/ body builder... so, I kinda pretended that it wasn't the same guy.
