Description
For all the cute MMD noobies beginners who want to stop struggling with simple things.More to come, but those four are really the most basic and most common (and MOST ANNOYING) mistakes users do.
I'm no expert in MMD, but those errors from beginners are sometimes really painful to see.
And when I hear people whining about posing, well, I ADMIT it's hard to pose right, but for beginners, well, try posing simple things instead of twisting models' limbs like they're made of chewing gum! XD
I've seen people make a model raise an arm to its mouth by twisting the elbow ALL THE WAY back. Try doing that and see how many bones you break.

I wish I had found this earlier.....now that I think about it....why didn't I look on deviantart earlier? Oh well, but I do have a quick question about using motion on MMD and I can't find the answer anywhereΒ Β Β What happened was I downloaded a motion and I loaded it onto a model and it works just fine....but I loaded another model onto MMD and loaded the same motion and then I dragged the second model away from the first but when I pressed play both of the models went to the center....what am I doing wrong?Β Β

You need to save the position of the motherbone (of the second model) in a position that's aways fro the first or they'll collide together. If your model doesn't have a motherbone there's an option in MMD that allowsyou to anually change the location of the motioning object.

Use the sliders in the facials panel.

I think I already tried that.
The model I'm using is the Ariel model from Kingdom Hearts; I've got options for eye and brow posing in the green 'facial manipulation' box, and two other options that are blank. Am I missing something?

Did you try using the sliders anyway? And cliccking the arrows to change the facial manipulation? (exemple, for mouth you usually have a, e, i, o , u sliders....)

*sigh* Look at number 2 on the deviation, on the facial manipulation panel.
You got four options there: eyes, mouth, brow, other, with white sliders and little clickeable ARROWS on the left and right sides. That's what you use.

My version must be different, because the facial manipulation panel is number four in the bottom panels. I only have eyes, brow, mouse, and other, the latter two being blank. No mouth options, and the only arrows are the black down arrows that open the list.
My version is _v803. What's yours?

7.39. I don't use the latest version since I was told it has compatibility problems with MikuMIkuEffect.

Do your research is my best advice.
It is often regarded as illegal/forbidden to link models/redistribute models you don't own in the MMDC.

Ah,this helped so Much,By the way, what version of MMD or MME are you using? When I see tutorials like this, there is always that button on top of the window that has "MMEffect" on there, and I'd like to know HOW it gets there.

I use MME 0.27.
Basically you have to copy/paste the plugin files of MME into the MMD directory and it should allow MMEffect to appear in your window.

No, I edited him myself (and help from a friend for his physics). From kanaha's black uniform Japan.

For some reason, despite me being a average MMD'er for two years, I still refuse to do step 2 for some reason o.o But ah, I like leaving the line on for some reason~
Everything else I do on instinct~ So these are pretty good tips for the newcomers in teh MMD world~ X3

Now that I actually pose hands *cough*, seeing the fingers in the default position bothers me a bit. There's a pose that comes with MMD that poses the hands in a default sort of relaxed bent position that I use if I can. XD
