Description Nothing says "I love you, Super Mutant" more than a Nuka Grenade. Still need to play the Point Lookout and Mothership Beta DLC packs too. This game is HUGE. Nice work, Bethesda!

Fallout 3 - (C) 2009 Bethesda Softworks.

Note - Tempted to update this. I got the Nuka Grenade image from the Fallout 3 Wiki, turns out that when you use a Nuka Grenade in the game in first-person mode, there's an additional handle/widget. I'll get round to this eventually...

Super mutants are kinda pushover in Fallout 3... I'd rather save those precious cans of flaming blue pain for Deathclaws or Reaver Ghouls !

Do I even need to buy the schematics to make a certain thing?

Super mutants bother me a lot, and I could do with a couple of Nuka-grenades

So freaking epic. I love the Nuka Grenade. Sucks you can only make so many. But that's why I like the pc version, so I can make more ;3

get gun runners arsenal dlc and the mad bomber perk and you can make them with Nuka Cola Victory (or was it Quartz, it was one of them, anyway). the explosion is still purple/ blue for some reason.

In fallout NV, with the mad bomber perk, the quantum gets replaced by quartz...just pointing that out

I haven't found the patience to look for schematics for them and the Warmonger perk isn't immediatly on my list of perks to acquire. Besides, FO3 is the better of the two.

Super Mutants always burn better with a Nuka Grenade

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Gamer4Life1987 [2011-03-12 19:27:41 +0000 UTC]

The Nuka Grenade is a great weapon for taking out groups of enemies or one really tough enemy. The only problem is the limited amount of them, unlike all the frag grenades you find lying around the Capitol Wasteland.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

pickassoreborn In reply to Gamer4Life1987 [2011-03-13 01:38:44 +0000 UTC]

The amount of Nuka Grenades is kind of dictated by the amount of Quantums you can get hold of - I think there's a perk/method to convert 10 Nuka Colas in your inventory to one Quantum. Very handy.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

deathbyskyrim In reply to pickassoreborn [2013-05-31 06:53:02 +0000 UTC]

yup, quantum chemist perk. There are at least 30 quantums in the capitol wasteland to begin with, but there is a never ending supply of nuka cola via merchants, etc.
