Description
Ref sheet 6 of 8. It’s late so please forgive me if I’m super incoherent.Dessa is my little dwarf warden baby~ her family descends from noble houses but due to the loss of the thaigs (and her families very poor money management skills) they are outcasts; Castless. As a child Des heard of the Grey Wardens coming to the Dwarven Halls to slay the darkspawn and ran away first chance she could get. She ended up in Nevarra first, joining the Wardens there and sharing her knowledge of the deep roads with the warden commander who later sent her back to The Anders with Kival (after his two year stay there while Edra and the others were in Orlais).
Her great hammer Dunburgan was lifted on her way out of the dwarven halls (She’s mostly warrior but has a bit of a sticky finger~)
As for colours, I’m thinking a dark maroon/black/silver combo? Idk I’m too tired to think.
EDIT: I should add that her armor is bits and scraps that she was able to scrounge up around the Navarran fortress. There aren't many smiths that make dwarven armors there so she had to piece together what she could find that would fit her (hence the miss-matched look).

For Dessa, Even If A Rouge Who Has Been Castless, Is A Bit More Elaborate. And Yes It's Scrapes But There's Ways To Make It More So! Like Fur :] There's Just So Much More Fun You Could Have With Her Outfit I Feel. And Since She's An Ex-Noble I Believe She'd Even Flare It Up A Bit Despite It Being Scraps. Like, A Leather Chest Plate With Scrap Chainmail Covering Her Collarbone Area. It'd Be In Small Amounts In Scraps, More Accessible And More Plentiful. Could Also Make Fur, For Just Below The Shoulder Plates. She Could Have Gotten That From Garbages Behind Rug Shops, Dogs, Any Animal Really. Either Than That, Perhaps Make Her Boots A Bit Bulkier.
If You Ever Do Her In Noble Armor Or For Further On In The Story When She's Bought Some Here's A Picture: [link]
I Would Try And Look For A More Castless Fitting Outfit, But Since Dwarven Culture Is So Rich, It's Mainly All Very Fancy.

Well she didn't have any armor while she was in the Dwarven halls (due to being poor). She didn't get any armor at all until she was in Navarra. Her family has also been castless for about 2 generations now (since the Thaig they were a part of fell during the first blight) so she's never known any sort of riches herself. She does get a much nicer set of armor down the road once she's been in the wardens for a few years and can afford it. Doing a fur lining on the pauldrons is totally doable, as is changing the style of boots. The breast piece is leather while the lower half of the chest plate is metal, but I love the idea of having some scrap chainmail covering the collarbone area.

Ah I See Now.
That's Good, Always Nice To Upgrade Once In Awhile :]
Ohh It Didn't Look Connected Now. That's The Only Reason Why I Mentioned It Before. Because The Part Just Above Her Waist Looked More Connected To Her Bottom Than Her Top. Have Fun With It, Chainmail Can Be Very Fun c:

Yeah I looked at it again and realized it's kinda hard to tell without colours that it's all attached. It's the top leather breast plate, and three overlapped metal plates that form the actual chest piece, which overlaps the three parts of the skirt.
