This is my favorite of the pics I took of these two, even if Its blurry. I wont be making more of the dark brown one, but I wanted some pitures of them.It looked like he was watching over him, forever a guardian, that is why it is my favorite. I really need a better way to take pictures, I either have to go outside and hope for good lighting or use my lamp. Both don't work as good as I would like. I wish I had a lightbox to put them in, oh well.
This was a test to see how the new yarn would work, it doesn't have the color changes I'm going to work into them. They are both posable as you can tell. If you would like the smaller one let me know. I will be either turning it into a buck also or using it to test fawn spots.

I use a wire armature throughout the entire piece. Its made of 18 gauge aluminum

I think $25 for the little one plus shipping. Its not very much for the work that went into it but I used it also to help with creating the new fawn pattern, so I still consider it a test version. I haven't made it into a fawn with spots or a buck yet. If you would like it I can leave it as it is or change it to either of those. I think it will look great with spots, its a deep chocolate color and they will contrast nicely.

Since I finished the deer set now I can finish the skeleton deer. All I like is the tail, ears and skull. The skull is crazy I'm using felt and its so annoying! Its getting fuzzy stuff all over my deer! It will be finished this weekend sometime though!

Felt can be exceedingly annoying to work with!! It often makes me cranky!! I can't wait to see the skeledeer!

I don't even like to touch felt. I did happen to find some stiff sheets of felt with a sticky tape side, it is working much better. Its holding its shape when I'm trying to cut the skull out. It really works for the teeth they are kind of small and this kind of felt it awesome, well as awesome as felt could get I guess haha. It was 99 cents a sheet but it got the job done! It will be done and posted tomorrow!

I do remember it, that will be very interesting to try to do. How do you want me to do the bones? I don't have red eyes but I suppose I could paint the ones I used with the deer. I knew you must have lost your phone! You didn't drop this one in the deep fryer did you?

Well making tinie tiny crochet bones would be crazy hard so don't do that. He said if you did black and put the felt skull over it that would be fine with him. No I didn't deep fry this one! I just don't know where it is. It's too small I keep forgetting it.

He said those are awesome! When he draws the skull on his he just draws what looks cool to him he doesnt even think its really a deer skull so he says you can make it look like whatever skull is easiest. Take your time though we arent in any hurry. I know you have things waiting ahead of us. I still can't find my phone I've been using Chucks lol.

It seems sort of canine it looks awesome whatever it is. I love its name it really fits, I hope I can live up to the design with crochet, it will be hard but I'll get as close as I can!
