I cannot really tell whether there is too much unused space in the photography or if there are just too many objects distracting from the motive but in either way he might want to get rid of that. Maybe it would be better to zoom in on the model a bit more? Also it might be just me but in my opinion the composition is lacking a proper concept and the model's pose isn't really... how should I say? Reflecting her surroundings? Interacting with the lines in the picture? It just seems a bit messy and random. Anyway I like the shot and I think your critique hits the nail and effectively summarizes strength and weaknesses of the photo. ~cheers

Before I start to criticize, let me just mention that this overall general idea for the picture is great. Congrats towards that.
Now, to the harsh part.
Let me start with the girl. Her pose, perfect. Sexy. Don't take that the wrong way. It suits the picture. It makes her look bad, like a rebel.
Her hair is messy, her lips a bright red. Her legs and arms cleanly shaved and clear. Wonderfully done.
The thing is, on this girl, it looks like she's wearing a ballerina suit that crawls up her bum. This does not match the picture. A tight Tee-Shirt and short shorts would match better.
Now, to the background.
The graffiti is awesome. It matches the rebel theme. The background is perfect. Dirty and dull, abandoned looking - where teenagers would go to get all up in that business. But once again, this outfit ruins the picture.
Now towards the lighting. A little bit of sun pouring through the window? AMAZING. The mostly dull-coloured background SUITS the rebel theme, and the sun setting through the window just WOW's it up.

I agree for the most part, but I like the outfit.
I like that it's out of place and it's not ripped or run down the background or messy like her hair.
It's the one uniform thing in the photo and it makes her stand out even more.
It's unique that way, it's not a typical rebel in a graffiti area like the outfit you've described.

i think that that the setting the girl its overall very good but i think that maybe a bit more color into it to highlight certain things, ya know? also that graffeti on the wall seems a bit out of place to me because the theme looks pretty wild but the graffeti seems a bit more like a rebel type of theme. i like how shes positioned on the wall butthe grass around her is very dull, and maybe her leotard could have been a more interesting color? other than that i think you did an awesome job! but i also dont understand why you named it centaur, it seems out of place

She is an absolutely stunning looking lady and so she fits into your conceptual/compositional way of set-up perfectly; assuming that it was the Beauty and the Beast, the Rough and the Smooth, the Ying-Yang way of total opposites i.e. beautiful model in derilict/rough terrain/surroundings. The lighting is perfect, especially the hint of sun passing through her hair and the presented colour/tones are just right.
This will most likely be my favourite photo for the whole year (2012) in the P&P section of DA and should be up on billboards and used as a tutorial visual on a HOW TO DO etc. Well deserved of a e.deviantart.net/emoticons/p/p… " width="15" height="16" alt="

Because it also has to do with what you consume: chocolate, fatty foods, not enough vitamins like B or C, and stress. It all plays a huge roll in it. And frankly, supermodels compared to hardworking studying all the time students or lazy otakus eating nothing but trash and gaming all day, those people look beautiful because they have to watch what they eat and exercise a lot.

Genetics is a factor in it too, I believe. I think the only reason i'm 107 lbs when i'm 5'2" and I barely exercise, is because my mother did ballet from the age of 18 to like 30 I think. Idk if that affects the child, but I would assume so, I heard obese women ironically have the common issue of premature babies... And I thought it would be the exact opposite. But idk, even race depends on it, how the people developed throughout the centuries really.

I thought the exact opposite, that asians are flat and shapeless. At least the majority are LOL and yar, i'm hispanic too you could say LOL I'm pretty short according to normal standards, and weigh 107 and get get under or over that. And i have a gut, which apparently is justified because you need that for childbearing (but who gaf about that? i don't want kids YET) lol
