Description
In all honest, it's been ages since I was this much tired and happy at the same time. I loved working on these two boiz, especially on Nimble, but I feel like I could do more with their designs and story. Last two days were pure nightmare, especially because I didn't have almost anything finished. I planned A LOT pictures with them - small comics, picture of their crew, picture of their families, some shenaningas between them and better explaining how did they became friends (or why Nimb left his family). But...... I just couldn't finish them, I was really tired this month and I am trying to fix my marks in the school. These two pictures inserted into the story were only pictures that are + - finished, but I still believe they could be better. It's a shame I have alot of sketched laying on my table, and I feel bad for it.
Well, anyway, don't pay too much attention to this little text, I hope you will enjoy the backstory (I know, it's very rushed, sorry...) and these characters but little WARNING!!! I'm so sorry for my awful English, but I really suck in writing in this language. If there will be some big mistake, please, tell me immedeatly

Name: Nimble Stream
Nicknames: Captain, Cap, Nimb, Streamy, Hoofbreaker
Parents: Inkwell and Bumblebee
CM / Talent: Goblet with wine / Natural talent in estimating the real price of the jewels, treasures, etc.
Nature: Quiet and unfriendly, but with heart of gold. When you get better to know him, he is good-natured and loyal friend, but overall he is unpleasant pony who doesn't doesn't like to make new friends.

Name: Sparrow Jonagold
Nicknames: John, Goldie, Little Chickee
Parents: Crabapple and Hurricane
CM / Talent: Because of his griffin ancestors, he will never gain his cutie mark.
Nature: Dork, unpredictable and very, very curious creature. He isn't very smart and he lives in his fantasies, often misunderstoods the situations and gets in trouble.

Nimble Stream is lavender buck around his thirtys, living as the captain of the fishing airship "Glamorous Beauty" and well-known pub hoof wrestler. When he was young, even through he was big idler, his parents genuinely supported him in his dreams - or, tried to. His Father Inkwell desired that Nimb would one day become some sort of scholar, because young Nimb showed a great potentical, sharp memory and talent for solving problems. On the other hoof, his Papa Bumblebee wanted him to follow his talent and became goldsmith - but to surprise of both parents, one spring noon he left the school, took the bag full of bits and left his home. They never found out why did he decided to do this.

Few weeks after his leaving, his hooves carried him to the Sunset Liverpool - small harbor on the East of Equestria, known for it's trading with the Griffinstone and being bridge between Pony and Griffon culture. Still, it's quite dangerous place, especially for young buck as was Nimble Stream. He started his career as an assistant of one of the merchants, and helped him alot with trading. For exchange, ol' merchant teached him everything he knew, from trading, sailing, to fishing. Thanks to him Nimble gained alot of experience, but - sadly - also addiction on the alcohol. Most of the money he made he immediately invested in dozes of pints of Beer and Cider, and at the end of the day, he had barely anything left. Thankfully, the mother fortune smiled on him and one day, some company gave him irresistible chance - they were called Brighter Equestria, one of the first pioneers in the relationships between Equestria and Griffinland, and offered him a job on one of their fishing boats. At the start he wasn't very interested, especially because he would need to cooperate with some griffon prisoners, but the promise of horde of money and travelling across the sea was much much stronger than his worries. And that's how he started his career a not just as a sailor, but later as an captain.

His crossing with little hippogriff was quite a coincidence. Little Sparrow was on a runaway from his adoptive family - by the time he arrived to harbor, he barely remembered them and he mostly lived in illusion that his real parents were kidnapped by evil demon and he is on adventure to save them. One night when he ordered a glass of milk in one local pub, he saw Nimble playing cards with one old changeling and talking about his unbelievable encounter with Siren. Little Chickee barely saw difference between normal and drunk pony, he was fascinated by the lavender stallion's words and decided to follow him as soon as he left the pub. He was determinated that Nimble must know the way to evil demon and surely help him!

Well, as soon as the Stream found little hippogriff on his boat (aka 3 days later, already on the sea, when he was checking catches and found him eating all the fish they caught), he wasn't very happy. He was rather raging and if the rest of the crew didn't caught him, he would surely jettisoned him. Originally, he planned to expel the young hippogriff from the boat as soon as possible, but he later realized how much is Sparrow useful - even thought he wasn't the sharpest pen, he quickly learned how to cook, and started helping their chef in the boat's kitchen. It took Nimb and Goldie alot of time to became friends, but they later became.
