Whoop whoop, finally finished this guy's reference! *u* This is a bab I received recently, though I made a few edits to have him fit the theme I had in my head for him. (also hope you don't mind if I make it a "he" ;;") I really loved his overall design and the concept behind his markings (or at least what I thought was the concept), and so I named him Combust!

Combust is a nice, 18 year old, loyal bab who just wasn't born into the right environment. He doesn't think that highly of himself at all, and neither does his "friends" and "family". All he knows he's good for is getting his jobs done.

He is a native city bab who wonders around in the shadows delivering important gang-related messages from district to district in a flash. The city he lives in is a human/bab mesh city where babs and humans "get along" and "work together" to run it. However most babs in this city live on the streets because of the prejudice that still hangs over the city like a thick smog, though there are a few exceptionally rich babs here and there. There are very little babs that live in this city compared to the amount of babs that live in the "wild" since babs in general do not trust humans, and some even want nothing to do with them whatsoever by living extremely far from this city. If you are a bab that leaves a pack to live in this city, chances are the pack you used to be in will not let you rejoin because they would be suspicious of you bringing humans back with you. (Nor will they accept any city-native babs) My current babs that live in this city is Candy Lord, Poppy, and Combust. Piebab, Buns, Waffles, Bubblegum, Juice, and Candy sometimes visit it due to the babs that live there, parties, shopping, and/or just taking a tour around.

Although Combust wonders what it would be like to be a "wild" bab, he is too timid to go outside the city-- in fact he's timid in general about danger. But since he was born into a bab gang, he always has to face danger.

The gang he is in is together to stay alive and fight against any power they think is too powerful/getting out of hand. (for example Candy Lord's underground candy and some corrupted human leaders that hamper babs that inhabit the city) They never handle things peacefully however, and are infamous for violent robberies against the filthy rich, creating angry flash mobs in shopping centers, and starting riots held outside of city hall.

Combust usually isn't directly involved in these activities, but he does help the gang put together these events by transferring messages and memos. He wears a hoodie to keep his identity a bit less apparent and runs as fast as he can so he cannot be seen by cops or other authorities. What he delivers is important, but he isn't very important to most of his fellow gang members. He has an extremely low ranking in this gang, and the only reason he stays is due to his everlasting loyalty to it. His "brothers" like to make hurtful jokes about him even when he's right in front of them, yet he just laughs nervously around and bottles up his pain. He was even forced to get a fur tattoo under his right eye as to prove his loyalty to the gang. (Which was very painful :/)
He often has to go into extremely dangerous neighborhoods or be involved in sending messages during a robbery, so he wears a mask whenever faced with these challenges. The mask gives him a pseudo sense of bravery since he knows it's quite terrifying to other babs. He also wears it when he had enough of being bullied that day, but he doesn't wear it too often since he actually hates scaring others.

Due to the stress he receives every day, he chows down a ton of sea food whenever he can. He's quite addicted to it and finds it soothing especially when having a rough week... but sometimes it's not enough. Eventually he sorta betrays his gang by buying frost candy in secret (an addictive popular candy made by Candy Lord) from a bab he knows as Frosty (Poppy). So far Frosty is the only bab Combust frequently interacts with that actually treats him like a living being, and that's saying something considering Frosty is a jerk for the most part. He always asks why Combust still stays in the gang he's treated badly in, but Combust usually just changes the subject quickly. He really looks up to Frosty and wishes he could be as brave and "free" as Frosty seems to be.

Nevertheless he continues to serve a gang he never felt he belonged in and doesn't have any "real" friends outside of it because it is not allowed. (He might sneak around and be friends with non-gang-member babs when he can) I personally think he should quit and become a pizza delivery bab with that awesome speed he has. >:L
