Also, why does the Combine put an "over" in front of everything they use? I mean, is that really necessary? Do they have, like, a Combine OverToilet somewhere in the bowels of the Citadel (pun fully and painfully intended?)

We had two old tray tables hanging around the house, one of which is my emergency standby bedside table during college months. It was a nasty, scuffed up light wood before.

Now... now, it's Valve-tastic!

This is not the finished product; that will be covered in layers and layers of Mod Podge, and will reflect camera flash like a mofo, so I give you the less glaring version. I am still darting out every fifteen minutes or so to add a fresh coat as of the time of writing this.

I did accidentally pull up a little ink while smoothing out the Companion Cube and the City 17 logo, and I set the bowl of glue in the top left corner, and ended up lifting off part of both the zombies banner and Alyx's face. I think that's going to have to be a law of the Half-Life universe, now; if something bad happens, it's going to happen to Alyx Vance. I mean seriously, give the girl a break already! Sheesh!

Basically, I sanded, primed with spray-primer, then spaypainted (the legs are orange.) After that, the pictures get Mod Podge-d to the top, then around ten thin coats go on, making it glossy, and waterproof. And bam! Valve-tastic table.

The logo in the center comes from Combine OverWiki. The rest is official Valve stuff.
