But it is not rainmeter. they need to choose Windows \ Misc to put it in for now.

xWidget is a clone of Rainmeter, but with Visual Skin Editor and Full support of javascript and animations.

But it is not rainmeter. So until dA makes a xwidget category (you can always request one i think) then it needs to go to windows\utils. I know that i am not the only rainmeter user that is upset that non rainmeter items are put in the rainmeter-only category.

be glad that some one has not started reporting the xwidgets to the dA admins, they just delete the items and tell you to put them in the correct category.

I am not trying to be mean or hardheaded or such, just trying to warn you and to keep deletions form happening.

The truth is: My friends like my work, and dA not makes a xWidget category(The xWidget author "Tony" had request one many days but no Reply) , So I post my work into this category seems to be most fits for now.
When dA makes a xWidget category,I will can not wait to leave this category that will not be popular soon.

I dont see many people abandoning RM, but, I do want to make xwidgets myself. is there a site that tells you how to write code for xwidget?

Make widget for xWidget do not need write code. Just drag&drop to create controls and cores and binding them and select tags.
