Sarah, ready to wrap the world into her carefully-scripted fairytale...Pencil, with a little digital enhancing. And that is as finished and clean and fidlly-detailed as I can manage in pencil art....
Should anyone feel the itch to nitpick on costumes and hairstyles, I was not copying from the movie stills for Jareth and Sarah, as should be fairly obvious. Labyrinth and its inhabitants(c) the Jim Henson Company--though Jareth I refuse to believe belongs to anyone but himself.

I'm putting together a book using the text of Labyrinth by ACH Smith (it's a novelization of the movie) and some fan drawings from here on DA. i was just wondering, would you let me use this drawing as the cover? i can send you a pic of what it'll look like, and one of the finished product. and if i post it on DA, i'll link back to this drawing.

A superb poster design and the composition is very eye-catching. As well as fantastic illustrative skills on display with the character's features I also like the way you have depicted the maze in the background. Great stuff.

lol well its a bit more important to me than you would know, only because I've been searching forever for a Labyrinth tattoo, (I have many tats already and I have a drawn theme so no worries there) and your drawing looks like the poster I wanted to go off of to get the tattoo, and its the closest thing to what I've wanted. if your freaked out by it though that's fine lol I needed to ask though...

The way you draw Jareth is amazing. The angles, sharp contours and deep lines of his face really make him look the part of a powerful otherworldly being. It's a nice change from the typical blatantly beautiful fay look which one sees in a lot of fantasy artwork.

NP. I hope you'll continue to grace the fandom for a long time and continue drawing such an imposing Jareth. (Like most 80s fantasy characters he's so glitter-tastic that it's impossible not to love him ^-^)
P.S. GND is monumentally funny! I especially love the scenes in which he's spying on the girls through his crystals.
