Description
This has been on the top of my list of things I want to etchasketch for what seems like forever. I am happy that I finally got around to it. It took roughly 2 hours to complete.This was featured on smosh, along with some more of my other works. Woohoo!

EDIT: In an effort to better chronicle my work, I am re-photographing it with my fancy-schmancy camera I did not have in 2011!

Coincidentally, you're doing the same thing I am: re-editing some stuff in my gallery -- because I didn't have editing software (and a better camera) until recently!
Too bad I'm stuck with Microsoft PowerPoint; at least it's better than nothing.

Oh my; are you suggesting that you have to use Powerpoint to do photo editing??!?
I remember the bygone days before I had any photo editing programs beyond MS Paint, and I would use Microsoft Word to scale down the size of images.
In recent years, not only have I acquired a better camera and better photo editing software (Photoshop CS6) but I also have been working as a photo retoucher since August 2013. I thoroughly enjoy retouching and have been having a blast taking the best photos I can with my camera and my developing skill set!
Ironically, I have no interest in pursuing photography but thoroughly enjoy photographing my art. It's the only reason why I invested in an SLR.

Funny thing - this is actually an old photo I took of this Etch A Sketch years ago. Regretfully this is before I was watermarking my art. So at some point someone got a hold of my old image and started circulating it, and for some reason that old image is the one that pops up on tumblr every now and then.
Sometimes it kind of bums me out, but I figure if anyone is overzealous enough to want to know who made it, a simple reverse google image search points back to me.
Lesson learned though: now I watermark my art!
