Description
I was hanging out with my friend in the sculpture room, and happened upon a skeleton. This is not a strange happenstance, as there are skeletons in most of the rooms at my school. So I decided to render the skull.Took about 15-20 minutes. I am really happy with the final result. Perhaps I will continue rendering the rest of the skeleton

Wow. This looks incredible! Granted, I can't even draw a block house with an Etch-a-ketch pad (I've tried for years to make anything more discernible than a mass of screwy lines, but no luck), but I still think this looks awesome! You should totally do the rest of the skeleton, I bet it'll look amazing!

Thank you!
I actually do intend on finishing the Etch A Sketch! It's a project I'm picking up again in January most likely.

Nice work. I bet this is about the only time an etch a sketch was used for anatomy drawing

What is databend? I briefly googled it but all the results were tl;dr.
I'll consider it depending on what it is, haha

I never've seen any of your works and I really like the fact that someone is drawing with tools straight from my own childhood. Great stuff you did!

I'm curious, how is it that you got into drawing on etch a sketches?

I've been drawing on an etch a sketch since I was 4, and I never stopped. I would have stopped though if it weren't for my grandma. I'd go to her house every other weekend as a kid, and she wouldn't let my siblings and I watch TV all the time. I played with my etch a sketch a lot more as a kid than others because there wasn't much else for me to do.

Is that just a sticker from your college, or is this a "college edition" etch a sketch? Absolutely amazing work; i couldn't even do that with just a pencil and paper
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
pikajane In reply to Last-Verse [2012-03-01 13:13:11 +0000 UTC]
It is a sticker from my college, which is completely removable, but leaves a sticky residue most the time. I like having it on there, though, because I love my school thank you very much!~
