Description This is a gift for my good friend Katrina. Her birthday was yesterday. I started the piece yesterday, but had some setbacks that ended with me finishing it too late for her birthday.
I have been getting more into the habit of re-creating pokemon myself, instead of just working from references. I made one in my own style, and I am relatively pleased with the final result. The background was kind of made on the spot, but I think it pulls the piece together, and fits the eevee better into the frame.
From the beginning sketch (on paper) to the end of the etch a sketch piece, I would say this took about 2 hours.
