I love drawing pikachu so much, especially on the etch a sketch. I love how pikachu's basic design has been tweaked over the years.This specific pikachu design was used for Pokemon Ranger, Shadows of Almia.
It took around 2 hours to make, and the background consists of pokeballs and little lightning bolts. Pikachu's face ticks me off, though; every facial feature is really far apart from everything else, so it's a pain to make it on an etch a sketch, where everything has to be connected by a line.

So, if you make one small mistake, you have to start all over, right?

some mistakes I can cover up, or distract people from them. If the mistake is pretty bad, I might have to erase part of the piece by tilting the etch a sketch and shaking lightly, but that doesn't always work how I want it to. But if the mistake is really bad, yup, I have to start over.

Ooh, this looks amazing, too. I like the background design; the pokeballs look like they would be difficult to add in, (of course for me, making a circle on an etch a sketch looks too difficult, so I guess I can't really estimate what would be hard to do for someone as talented as yourself.) Anyway, even though making his face was a pain to do, you still did an amazing job with it. The extra lines connecting the facial features will be there no matter what, so for what you had to work with, you definitely did it justice.
I loved playing Shadows of Almia.

Still haven't played Shadows of Almia, but it's on my to-do list! (after like 3 other pokemon games...)

Oh yeah? I wish I still had the majority of my Pokemon games, but I traded them in, with the exception of Colosseum and Gale of Darkness, (they've always been my favorites, and they're on GameCube, which is my main non-computer gaming platform.)
