She actually does that alot, without realizing it.
You can tell, by her saying Eevly. Eevly likes to sneak up to her, and that's pretty much how Sparkle stops her from doing that

that's why I put "light" after Thunderbolt. It doesnt hurt, just more or less shocks someone.
